Introduction
Every GSCer qualifies to engage in up to 1,000
hours of coach training via live TeleClass, conducted by Thomas
Leonard (founder of the GSC) and the senior trainers of the
GSC/CoachVille. Fifty of those hours are required hours/classes to
graduate from the Graduate School of Coaching; 950 are elective
hours. As of June 2002, we are continuing to build/add to our
curriculum. It currently stands at 100 hours; we'll be adding 200
more hours by December 2002; and another 800 hours by December 2004.
(All 1,000 hours of TeleClasses are included in your tuition.) 50 of
these 1,00 hours are required courses to graduate from the GSC and
upon which the written graduation examination questions are crafted.
You may take the TeleClasses live, or listen via RealAudio, or both.
It's entirely up to you.

Learning the
CoachVille Coaching System
Wondering what the 15 Coaching
Proficiencies, Life Frameworks, Client Deliverables, Listening
Clarifiers and Communication Style Points are, how to use them, and
how to integrate them into your coaching? In this one hour session,
we'll help you to get your arms around these components so that you
can weave them into your coaching. The 15 Proficiencies and the
related elements comprise the Certified Coach designation. Note that
we won't be training you on the 15 Proficiencies themselves during
this one hour but that we will be describing them and showing you how
the whole coaching process works. Single session/one hour.

The Million
Dollar Coaching Company
If you've got your sights set on
building a coaching company, special interest membership community or
other market segment and you would like to know how coaches are
jumping from $100,000 to $250,000 and even to $1mm in revenue through
a combination of coaching, classes, licensing, assessments,
memberships and more, then you will benefit from this overview. You
will also benefit even if you don't plan to go for the big numbers,
given that you'll learn about how to target a market and serve that
market in a variety of ways beyond traditional one to one coaching.
Single session/one hour.
Class #2403
| required
Introducing
Your Clients To New Frameworks
Frameworks are ways of thinking,
akin to paradigms, "come-froms," personal operating systems, and even
paradoxes. One of the ways that the coach adds value to their clients
is by freshening or expanding the client's thinking or assumptions and
in this one hour overview, you'll be introduced to the 15 Frameworks,
along with the specific situations that clients are in, and which are
most fitting for each. Single session/one hour.
Class #2404
| required
Designing
Failsafe Structures for Performance
The discussion is for the coach
who is coaching clients who have a lot at stake and need support
structures to keep them focused and productive in their work or
business. And not just any support structures, but failsafe support
structures, meaning support structures, systems and environments which
are 'even stronger' than the client is. If you've worked with
busy/hectic clients who are distracted by the events of the day, then
you'll understand the need for the coach to be proficient at designing
and installing these types of sophisticated structures. Single
session/one hour.
Class #2405
| required
How to Develop
a Client Coaching Program
If you've been wondering how to
package what you know into a stand alone, highly targeted solution for
a market segment, then you'll want to be in this one hour segment
where we walk you through the steps to develop a client coaching
program (meaning a coaching program for the public, including your
clients). As you can imagine, it's quite a jump from 'knowing stuff'
to packaging that stuff into a defined and structured program, and
we'll show you how. Single session/one hour.
Class #2406
| required
How To Enjoy
Your Client Immensely
Yes, we know this sounds a bit
'bland,' and rightfully you may be wondering what a training topic
like this is doing in the GSC. And, it's one of the most powerful of
the 15 Coaching Proficiencies. Why? Because to get to this level of
collaborative relationship with your client, yet still have an edge
and be effective with them, calls for a fairly high level skill set
and awareness level. That's all we're going to say at this point but
if you find yourself trying too hard with clients, being frustrated by
them, wishing they would move faster, be more self generating or put
into action what they are learning, then this one hour training will
prove beneficial. Single session/one hour.
Class #2407
| required
Understanding
the 15 Client Deliverables
Our view is that every several
minutes during a coaching session, value is being delivered or
created. It's just that the client (and often the coach) haven't
recognized it or been able to put it into words. In this one hour
overview of Client Deliverables, you will learn this language and
we'll show you how to weave these terms into your coaching sessions so
that your client will recognize all that they are receiving
from you. And interestingly, as you learn these 15 Deliverables,
you're coaching will also shift to ensure that you are delivering
these during your coaching sessions. Quite clever when you think
about it. And, the more/better your clients understand what they are
getting from you during their coaching sessions, the more they'll
stick with you and have faith in the process until the "big result"
occurs. Single
session/one hour.

The Attraction Program
Overview & Licensee Training
If you've heard about the 28
Attraction Principles and/or are curious about how to weave these into
your coaching and/or conduct Attraction TeleClasses or Workshops
yourself, then spend an hour with us and learn exactly how to do
this. You'll receive an overview of the Attraction Principles, and
learn how and when to use them with your clients. And, how to conduct
a training or ecourse based on these principles for your clients,
potential clients and/or the public. Single session/one hour.
(Please note that this session is not the full six-week
version of the Personal Foundation Program; you can purchase that as
an upgrade at
http://www.coachville.com/attraction/default.html for only $49. We
do recommend that you go through the six-week live TeleClass version
so that you can experience this program for yourself and/or to conduct
it for others, but we do not require that you do so.)

3 Step Selling Process
Do selling and
coaching go together? Well, no, not really. It's probably more
nearly accurate to call this the "3 Step Buying Process." That said,
what you will learn in this one hour session is how to walk potential
clients through a simple 3 step process to facilitate their process of
buying coaching from you. This process does work and it's completely
"non-selly" in its foundation, tone and delivery. It's clean and
natural and it's not manipulative. And even the most dedicated of the
"I hate selling" crowd will enjoy this 3 step process. Single
session/one hour.

With all the plates that
the small business owner or professional has to spin, how can you
coach them to focus on what really matters in their business (think

visual way of thinking and looking at the 5 measurables that matter
most to your client and their company. We'll show you the 25 most
common measurables, so that you can help your client select the top 5
that fit best for them. By selecting the 'best' 5, your client will
focus on what matters most, and have more time/space for your coaching
because the fear/worry factor will have been reduced significantly.

Designing
Environments to Support Growth and Change
Certainly, a person can rely primarily on
themselves for their own growth, development and success. And, why put
yourself through that stress and learning curve? The idea behind this
class is that success comes so much easier when one has designed and
installed environments that support what the person is up to. Why
type of environments? Everything from automation of bill paying to
having a virtual assistant, from being part of a Mastermind type group
to having a personal projects R&D Team. You will learn about 25 such
environments in this course. Single session/one hour.

Working with
Cultural Creatives
Cultural Creatives is the term
used to describe the group of individuals who are the early adopters
of progressive trends in a society. They are the ones who are creating
and defining the future of life and living. They are the
experimenters, crafting new products, ideas, services, experiences and
lifestyles. And they respond well to coaches who understand their way
of thinking and creating and who respect their sometimes radical
approaches to their way of living and priorities. In this one-hour
session learn how to coach these Cultural Creatives. These Cultural
Creatives will keep you young and thinking fresh. Single session/one
hour.

A Perfect

If you are howling with displeasure about the
term 'perfect person,' then simply move on to another GSC course. But
if you find the idea intriguing for yourself and you feel that several
of your clients are up for this game, then please sign up for this
one-hour overview. The Perfect Person Program is a client-driven and
client-defined program that orients around the question: "If I were to
become a perfect person, what are the 25 elements of my behavior,
lifestyle and development that I would want to perfect?" The Perfect
Person Program provides a structure for clients/participants who want
to engage themselves in that question for 30 to 90 days. In this
one-hour overview, you will learn the basics of the concept and the
basics of how to offer this program to groups, or just to one client
at a time. Single
session/one hour.

Absence Of
Program Overview & Licensee Training
If less is more, then is nothing
everything? In this one-hour overview, you will learn about the
concept of 'absence of' and how certain types of clients respond
better to this approach to success than focusing on success or
happiness directly. The ideas is to become super-conductive in your
life and business by identifying and eliminating all of the sources of
friction, delay and reaction. The byproduct of this approach is
speed, flow, occurrence and ease. In this one-hour overview, learn
more about this approach and how to conduct this training
yourself. Single session/one hour.
Class #2419
| elective
The Reserve Program Overview
& Licensee Training
The notice and practice of sufficiency is a
terrific one; and the notion of reserve/reserves takes sufficiency to
the next level. The basic idea here is that when one develops
reserves in many areas of their life (i.e., money, energy, ideas,
skills, opportunities, relationships, love, access), then life itself
becomes a higher grade experience. Why? Because the certain
percentage of your thinking, time and personal RAM that is taken up by
fear and survival needs is reduced dramatically when you have reserves
in all areas, thus freeing up one's natural energy and creativity.
It's a little hard to explain but life because easier and much richer
when you, your body and your mind are utterly relaxed because you
have more than enough reserves. Sufficiency, while useful, isn't
enough to quiet the genes that cause us to waste a significant
percentage of our resources to 'watching out' for our safety. Single
session/one hour.

For the Rest
of Your Life Program Overview & Licensee Training
This is a very new personal development program
where clients select 1, 2 or 3 elements/areas of their lives that they
will either honor 'for the rest of their lives' or eliminate/absence
for the rest of their lives. Things like drinking alcohol, eating
meat, being anything less than honest, having at least X amount of
money in your bank account at all times, making your bed, being
monogamous, etc. Really, it's whatever the client wishes to select.
The focus of the program is to help the client identify their 1, 2 or
3 'forever things' and then to identify the ways to tweak, organize,
restructure, reorient, reprioritize or simplify their lives so that
this can be true forever. Single session/one hour.

Integrity Day
Program and Licensee Training
The term "Integrity Day" sounds a bit dry, so
you might want to jazz it up a bit by calling it Spring Cleaning Day,
or Clear the Clutter Day or Get Your Taxes Done Day. The way this
program works is that folks call into a teleconferencing bridge at the
top of the hour for about 7 minutes for 3 to 5 hours in row, usually
on a Saturday. Folks identify their measurables for each hour and
support and challenge each other to make their targets. Yes, we know
that it sounds a little soft, but it works and is miraculous.
Details at
http://www.integrityday.com. The best way to learn how to lead
one of these is to lead one of these, but during this one hour
overview, we'll go over how to structure the calls, lead them well,
schedule them and we'll answer your questions.

Transition
Path: From Therapist to Coach
Are you currently a therapist who wishes to
either add the coaching skills set and approach to your current
clients, or perhaps launch a coaching-specific practice? Join our
instructor, a former therapist who will outline for you the basic
shifts in thinking, the changes in approach and the tweaks in style
that will facilitate this transition for you. This one-hour
discussion is also for therapists who have "been coaching their
clients for a long time" and who consider themselves to be coaches.
As you will learn, there are additional shifts in thinking,
assumptions, methodology and style to make a complete transition to

How To Shift
a Client's Paradigm
A paradigm is a set of rules, a model of
thinking/operating, a set of assumptions. For example, Detroit (home
of America's automobile industry) operated in the paradigm that the
vast majority of Americans will only buy U.S. automobiles and thus,
the Japanese car industry was not a threat. Same with the Swiss and
their watches. Even as the evidence mounted, the paradigm was so
strong, that both groups were in denial. By the time they figured out
that they were in a paradigm at all, it was too late; the momentum
went to the Japanese who lived in a very different paradigm. (The
Japanese paradigm at that time was "We can/must learn all we can about
making great cars, very inexpensively.") There are personal paradigms
as well these business paradigms. We cover both in this one hour
session. Single

Leveraged and Passive Revenue
Opportunities for Coaches
At some point, many coaches seek out
coaching-related opportunities that generate passive vs active
revenue. Leveraged Revenue in terms of earning power beyond the
1-to-1 coaching session and Passive Revenue in terms of sources of
income that are complete passive such as products, assessments,
licenses, ecourses and more. Think of leveraged and passive revenue
as part of your retirement fund. Note: Several coaches we know now
earn the build of their revenue from passive income sources after
having been 1-to-1 coaches for years. Single session/one hour.

Introduction to the 15
Primary Relationships
Get a picture a person who is overwhelmed by
paper. Or stress. Or a changing environment. Or success. Got a picture
of someone? Okay, good. Now, think about this...Maybe the person
doesn't so much have a problem with paper, stress, change or success
as they may have a relationship with paper, stress, change or success
which is
...damaged...weak...skewed...missing... So, rather than work with the
client on paper, stress, change or success, why not work with them on
their relationship with paper, stress, change or success? And
speaking of that, here's the list of all 15: Time, Money, Success,
Happiness, Stress, Change, Feelings, Responsibility, Learning,
Paperwork, Roles/Identity, Ideas, Soul, Body, Personality/Traits.
You'll learn more about this, and why it matters so much in coaching,

or business. Examples? power>strength, model>system,
complicated>complex, develop>evolve, momentum>flow,
